Technical Account Manager

Role definition

Parallels is looking for an outstanding Technical Account Manager in Munich or London to join our support team and assist with both technical and strategic help in using Parallels products. Focus of this position is to be a single POC driving and advocating partner initiatives that deliver higher stability, higher partner satisfaction, all while driving MRR goals.

Key Duties:

  • Exceed customer expectations as their key resource within Parallels
  • Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire Parallels product line
  • Manage and drive competing requests across simultaneous client engagements
  • Provide clear and constructive product feedback to Parallels Product Management teams based on customer requirements
  • Help to document best practices in developing and deploying Parallels solutions to select customers

  • Flexible to be on-call via a company provided mobile device to respond to high-severity customer issues during non-standard business hours

Director, Customer Support

Role definition

Parallels is looking for the right candidate to create and lead our Hoster support offering. The Director, Global Hosting Support will define and operationalize support offerings for customers using Parallels products such as Parallels Plesk Panel and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers. You will partner closely with marketing, sales and product engineering to understand the competitive support landscape. You will then design an overall services strategy and roadmap that support the sales and marketing strategies within budget constraints. You and the matrixed support management team that you’ll interact with will be responsible for driving a new support business model that will help to scale these offerings. Additionally, you will interact with Parallels hosting partners and customers to understand their business needs as it relates to support.

Responsibilities

  • Create and lead the implementation of support offerings across Parallels
  • Work directly with internal and external customers to meet tight deadlines and address escalations
  • Manage and take accountability for KPI’s (key performance metrics) related to Parallels Support teams
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to jointly resolve strategic customer issues
  • Create and manage, in partnership with other support leaders, a well-regarded support organization
  • Effectively influence others in support management and in different divisons to deliver exceptional results

Project Manager – Professional Services Delivery

Position Overview

This position reports into the professional services organization with responsibility for all aspects of planning and delivering professional services contracts to the customer.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience working as a project or program manager for a technology company where the solution requires the delivery of professional services.

Candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of technology and be comfortable in defining both business and technical delivery plans. Candidates must be able to understand, plan and manage all aspects of work needed to successfully adopt a solution, place into production and operationally transfer to the client.

Preference given to candidates with experience working with solutions involving software configuration and customization using customer provided hardware platforms, especially with hosting, cloud services or ERP type solutions.

Preference given to candidates with delivery experience spanning enterprise accounts to smaller mid market accounts. Candidates must be able to be able to differentiate and adjust delivery approach approaches based on type of accounts.

Role Definition

The new position of Operations Director will work across the team and the company to assist running and driving the day to day Operational needs in Professional Services. Responsibilities

Sr. Functional Analyst – Business Applications - Western Europe/Russia

Role Definition

The Sr. Functional Analyst of Business Applications will play a key role in high-profile corporate initiatives aimed driving operational excellence in Financial Operations and IT. In this role, you will manage relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers in Finance, Sales Operations and Marketing throughout the organization World-wide. Key Responsibilities

  • Primary resource for managing the Company’s ERP solutions in Europe, Russia, and Asian Pacific Offices by providing technical and functional support to end-users.
  • Collect, review and manage end-user reported issues relating to ERP and other enterprise applications in compliance with the Company’s Internal Control Policies and SOX requirements.

Role description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Market Development Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for our European Service Provider business. The successful candidate will be driven by a fast paced environment and must be able to work independently on execution elements while also acting as a team player others can rely on to deliver on-time with quality results. Required skills include the ability to drive marketing plans from creation to execution with high-profile accounts. In depth understanding of go-to-market best practices for Telcos and other large service providers is highly desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Market Development Manager will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution including ownership of the plan and budget for specific accounts for appropriate coverage across our panel, server virtualization and automation products for the hosting and cloud services provider audience. This role will require synchronizing with the Service Provider business strategy and working closely with Product Marketing and Business Development groups to insure strategic initiatives are supported.
