Due to our expansion we are looking for an Account Manager — Virtualization Software Solutions. This is an attractive and broad role with much upside potential at a truly exciting company with excellent products in growing markets.
Duties and responsibilities include:The candidates have a proven track record in key account management (minimum 3 years) selling to director/board level. Experience in channel and/or direct sale is a must and you are fluent in English and German — any other language is a plus.
You must have sold software solutions and furthermore you must have a solid IT infrastructure background, preferable experience with Windows and/or Linux server virtualization. Previous cold calling experience is essential as well as demonstrable skills in project management. You need to have a strong will to develop your region with all the included responsibilities.
You will report to our Director Enterprise Software Solutions EMEA based in Darmstadt (Rhine-Main area/Germany), where you will be based as well. Working mainly from your home office is not possible.
