ReadySpace triples customer satisfaction and slashes manual errors to zero with Parallels Automation
ASIA PACIFIC – March 16, 2011 – Cloud services enablement leader, Parallels, today announced that it has enabled ReadySpace to increase operating efficiency by 50 per cent and triple customer satisfaction since deploying Parallels Automation. The deployment has also reduced manual execution errors to zero.
More importantly, the company’s deployment of Parallels Operations Automation, Parallels Business Automation and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers has opened up new market opportunities in cloud services for small and medium sized businesses.
"Partnering with Parallels is really the way to go for us," said David Loke, Executive Director of ReadySpace. "With Parallels Automation, our customers can always experience seamless deployment of cloud services and even get the services they want on-demand. There is no longer any down-time for upgrades and downgrades for our customers, and cloud services can be upgraded automatically through our customer portal."
When it started operations in 2003, many of ReadySpace’s operations were manually driven. Customer calls were often put on-hold while support staff completed their requests. The company had to divert resources to support personnel instead of focusing on creating innovative solutions, and improving the customer experience.
As the business grew, the company realized it had to automate its operations. ReadySpace needed a solution that would enable customers to have the best total user experience – meaning customers get what they want fast and problems are solved quickly, from support, sales or billing.
The company weighed three options to achieve this – develop in-house solutions; outsource or work with a partner to develop the solutions to meet their needs.
After reviewing its options, ReadySpace chose Parallels for its depth of experience in delivering solutions finely tuned to the needs of a hosting business model. Based on ReadySpace’s objectives Parallels formulated a strategy to automate the daily and manual tasks by rolling out a turnkey package that consisted of Parallels Operations Automation, Parallels Business Automation and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers.
"By automating provisioning, support, sales, query and billing, cloud service providers like ReadySpace can focus on developing new and innovative solutions while enhancing customer satisfaction," said Jan-Jaap Jager, Vice President of Parallels Asia Pacific. "Having worked with many of the leading hosting service providers in Asia and worldwide, we know that automation is critical to meeting the multitude of time-sensitive needs of their customers."
