Combined company to offer a complete range of tools and products for the thin client computing market
09 September 2005 - 2X Software Ltd. today announced that it has acquired Terminal-Services.NET, a provider of top-rated terminal services tools and products for Microsoft Terminal Services. 2X will use intellectual property and technology assets from the acquisition to provide customers with new tools to help them obtain the most out their Microsoft Terminal Services environments. In addition, key personnel from Terminal-Services.NET will be joining 2X to develop and expand on their thin client computing efforts. The terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Following the acquisition of Terminal-Services.NET, the 2X product range is expected to include:
- 2X ApplicationServer for Terminal Services: Allows Windows applications to be tunneled on remote desktops seamlessly, thereby saving on administration & support.
- 2X LoadBalancer for Terminal Services: Provides load balancing, increased security and redundancy for Terminal Servers.
- 2X FullControl for Terminal Services: Controls user desktops & application performance and ensures security and reliability of Terminal Server.
