Operating system vendors have established formal end-of-life policies around the operating systems they develop and maintain. Using a supported operating system is critical to maintaining a stable server environment. As a result, Parallels maintains a lifecycle policy related to operating systems as well.
To assist with monitoring operating system production lifecycles, Parallels offers the below tables describing the dates by which a particular operating system ended its production life cycle and, synonymously, when Parallels will no longer provide software patches or accept technical support requests for Parallels Plesk Panel instances running on these operating systems. Parallels recommends monitoring this list and ensuring that customers’ operating system environments are kept up-to-date.
