Technical Account Manager

Role definition

Parallels is looking for an outstanding Technical Account Manager in Munich or London to join our support team and assist with both technical and strategic help in using Parallels products. Focus of this position is to be a single POC driving and advocating partner initiatives that deliver higher stability, higher partner satisfaction, all while driving MRR goals.

Key Duties:
  • Exceed customer expectations as their key resource within Parallels
  • Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire Parallels product line
  • Manage and drive competing requests across simultaneous client engagements
  • Provide clear and constructive product feedback to Parallels Product Management teams based on customer requirements
  • Help to document best practices in developing and deploying Parallels solutions to select customers
  • Function as a front-line technical resource for "best practice" and informal customer questions

  • Conducting a consultative review of your existing IT infrastructure to determine how Parallels technology can best help you
  • Reviewing your implementation plans and making recommendations in line with best practices

  • Providing access to Parallels product experts when needed
  • Putting you at the front of the queue for product upgrades and new releases
  • Conduct quarterly site visits and delivering quarterly reviews that summarize support issue trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • At least 8+ years experience in customer-facing positions in support, technical account manager, sales account management or other role
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies, with emphasis on software and hardware architecture, and infrastructure design and development
  • Strong analytical skills regarding technical and project management issues
  • Flexible to be on-call via a company provided mobile device to respond to high-severity customer issues during non-standard business hours
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands
  • Ability to interact and communicate with multiple levels of people including CxO
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills including presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time, including internationally
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent industry experience
Language skills:
  • German & English (fluently)
  • Other European languages are an advantage

Solution Architect

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for translating the client's business requirements into a specific system, application or process scope. This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution.

The role will report to the EMEA Professional Services Manager, and will help drive services efficiency, customer satisfaction, and repeatable successful engagements for Parallels products for the hosting and cloud services provider audience.

Marketing Manager, Service Providers, EMEA

Role Definition

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for a defined set of marketing activities in the region. Manager will drive closed-loop marketing activities including strategic campaign planning, partner marketing and execution across EMEA.

Responsibilities
  • Position collaborates closely with local Sales Management and also Marketing teams across the globe.
  • The candidate will translate business strategy into marketing activities for EMEA and deliver against defined targets.
  • Translate the key features of our offerings into benefits and help to equip the channel and sales teams with effective sales tools – working closely with different stakeholders (for example, Product Marketing, marketing agencies, other regional marketing managers, campaign managers at Parallels corporate headquarters) and execute on marketing initiatives in a way tailored to EMEA needs.
  • Bring all elements within a campaign together to ensure a consistent approach runs through all material and across all channels.
  • Candidate will be responsible from development and design to execution and reporting for all EMEA marketing campaigns.
  • Manage email marketing for Sales for customer and prospect communications using the company’s email automation software and CRM tools.
  • Drive communications excellence within the EMEA region with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Will monitor results to ensure full delivery, pacing and performance is in line with set benchmarks
  • The candidates will also working on cross functional marketing projects for the EMEA region.
  • Stakeholder in annual EMEA marketing planning process.
Preferred qualifications and background

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in Channel Marketing, well-versed in direct response metrics, analytical, and a skilled project manager across multiple external and internal channels. High level of independent judgment and initiative required. Resourceful and capable of being calm and decisive under pressure working in multicultural teams.

  • Ability to drive leads to the sales team via multiple channels including, but not limited to, online, email campaigns, print and direct mail.
  • Successful track record of campaign and Channel Marketing program execution in the European IT market with a relentless focus on ROI improvement.
  • Strong influencing skills and a confident communicator.
  • Candidate must be willing to manage EMEA-specific programs tactically.
  • Candidate must be a high energy, can-do-person who can operate in a fast moving and self-service environment, and must have excellent written, verbal, presentation and time management skills.
  • Strong team player and used to working closely with top Sales management.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a related field. Expertise in Channel Marketing, knowledge of Product Marketing a plus.
  • BA/BS degree required, MA / MBA or equivalent education preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM and email marketing tools.
  • Excellent English language skills with fluency in an additional language a plus
