Senior QA engineer (hosting products) (Ukraine, Lviv)

The project deals with functionality testing of various hosting products. You have a great opportunity to get experience on testing a large set of products: Parallels Pro (formerly Ensim), Helm, H-Sphere, SPHERA, Helm, Confixx, HSPC, Prima Hosting and a very wide range of hosting applications. We use virtualization technologies (developed by our company) at different virtualization levels to optimize the process.

Responsibilities

• Manual and automated testing of the products.
• Detecting defects and working with them.
• Developing and using testing scenarios.
• Compatibility testing.

Basic Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in testing.
• Higher education or final years of university studying.
• Understanding the processes of software development and testing.
• Ability to quickly learn big chucks of information (work with Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, work with new complex hosting products).
• Linux/Windows servers administration experience.
• Sense of responsibility.
• Good technical English.

Preferred Qualifications

• QA Engineer/Senior QA in a company dealing with the hosting/virtualization software development.
• Cross-group collaboration skills and coordination of QA for multiple related products.

Frontline Technical Support Engineer (hosting products)(Ukraine, Lviv)

Duties of frontline technician:

• Technical problem solving for the hosting products.
• Voice support. Solving difficult technical problems for remote customers involves asking right questions to get the right answers. You have to be able to identify what questions to ask to get the core of a customer problem.
• Getting first-hand information from customers, preparing necessary information for second line support engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

• English on upper-intermediate level with spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of Internet technologies, operating systems administration.
• Experience as a computer engineer, technical consultant, or system administrator with lead responsibilities in IP network and Internet environment.
• Multi-tasking ability and the ability to set and reorder priorities.

Linux developer (hosting products)(Ukraine, Lviv)

Responsibilities
Developing hosting products for Linux servers.
Qualifications

• Higher technical education.
• Understanding of operation systems architecture, knowledge of Unix.
• Tuning and configuration set of services in Unix environment.
• C/C++ experience in a Unix environment, shell/Perl/php scripting.
• 1+ year of experience in debugging of development environment.
• Knowledge about and experience with GNU auto tools.
