Core Responsibilities:

We are looking for a talented person to join our team and help drive our service provider channel and partner marketing efforts. This exciting role offers significant room for future growth and reports to the Director of Service Provider Marketing.

The primary responsibility for this position is to build, lead and execute a full range of channel/partner marketing initiatives aimed at hosting providers, ISPs, telecom carriers, and SaaS providers.

  • Work with sales/channel managers to develop marketing programs
    • Define marketing strategies
    • Define positioning
    • Define metrics for success
  • Implement and execute channel marketing programs
    • Create sales and partner collateral
    • Manage the partner web portal and content
    • Manage reseller seminars and training programs
  • Communicate with channel partners
    • Meet with channel partners to learn pain points
    • Work with channel partners on joint press releases
    • Research and author testimonials and success stories
    • Contact partners through email marketing programs
  • Represent Parallels at trade shows and events as appropriate
Required Skills and Talents:
  • Bachelors Degree in technology or marketing related discipline
  • 5 years experience in channel marketing or technical discipline at a software or high-tech company
  • Ability to write and edit high quality product marketing documents including brochures, case studies, PowerPoint presentations, mass market emails, and web content
  • Ability to function in a self-managed, start-up environment
  • Server software or hosting experience preferred

Accounts Payable Associate

Core Responsibilities:

We are looking for a talented person to join our team to support our Accounts Payable function. This exciting role offers significant room for future growth and reports to the Controller.

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain accounts payable records
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy
  • Routing invoices to proper personnel for approval for payment
  • Placing calls to vendors or other departments regarding any questions related to invoice payments
  • Ensuring invoices are posted to the proper department and account
  • Complete check printing and prepare check packets for signature and mailing
  • Research vendor statements
  • Auditing and processing employee expense reimbursement
  • Assist with accounts payable month-end close process
  • Reconcile credit card charge accounts
  • Prepare weekly cash requirement downloads
  • Answer all vendor inquiries
  • Inform management of payment issues
  • Handle incoming check requests
  • Create and maintain vendor files
  • Record manual checks
  • Perform filing and copying
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

Required Skills and Talents:

  • A minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • HSD diploma w/associates degree preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment

Sales Engineer

The position will be responsible for working with the sales team in a pre-sales role to provide technical support to the sales team, and present the Company's software products to prospective customers.

Job Summary:
  • Support sales team to drive the sales of Parallels products and services and develop relationships with Customers from a technical perspective.
  • Produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations or technical presentations.
  • Develop technical sections of proposals and answers to RFP.
  • Qualify opportunities from a technical perspective.
  • Perform needs analysis for qualified sales opportunities. Create technical requirements documentation for the implementation and integration of the Parallels products in the customer environments.
  • Train the Parallels sales and marketing staff on Parallels product and service offerings.
  • Attend customers and prospects meetings and respond to customers' technology-related questions, assess customers' needs, and make recommendations on the best product configuration/integration.
  • Interface closely with Product Management and product engineering within Parallels and provide feedback on competitive trends, market shifts, and customers' needs to ensure that Parallels continues to produce products and services that match the changing market.
  • Responsible for the configuration of all changes to the solution during the pre-sales process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • At least three to five years' experience in a pre-sales role in the software industry.
  • Excellent phone and personal presence and presentation skills and ability to effectively handle customer objections within the sales process.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Multi-tasking ability and the ability to set and reset priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Working knowledge of internet technologies and web hosting products/services.
  • Working knowledge of application development life cycle.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the development and business documentation.

This position may require up to 25 % Travel
