New PEM Offer Bundles Storefront, Billing, Provisioning, and Control Panels for Complete Hosted Exchange Solution

Herndon, VA— May 22, 2006 – Today, SWsoft, a recognized leader in server automation and virtualization software, announced general availability of the PEM Solution for Hosted Exchange which allows service providers to rapidly deploy business class email and collaboration to their retail customers. The PEM Solution for Hosted Exchange automates all back-office functions associated with Microsoft’s Hosted Messaging and Collaboration to deliver a seamless customer experience for hosted Exchange and SharePoint.

SWsoft has already worked with several service providers, such as ExchangeMyMail and Pacificnet Hosting to deploy business class email and collaboration using the Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration platform in combination with PEM.

Dynamic Hosted Exchange Solution for All Types of Service Providers
The PEM Solution for Hosted Exchange is a bundled package that includes everything hosting providers need to offer Hosted Exchange including installation, pre-defined configurations, hardware requirements, and packaged software.

The software bundle includes:

• Storefront – The PEM Solution for Hosted Exchange storefront can be customized to reflect the hosting provider’s look-and-feel as well as specific customer offers. The storefront includes domain registration and resource upgrade screens so customers can complete all their shopping in one place.

• Provisioning – PEM utilizes the Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) to automatically provision orders entered through the customer control panel or the online storefront. SWsoft extends MPS by writing controls which provision additional features that cannot be managed using MPS alone.

• Billing – The PEM Solution for Hosted Exchange includes a multi-level billing system capable of supporting direct customer sales and resellers. The billing system provides flexibility so that service providers can establish plans with specific bundles of resources and bill overage charges for any resource such as storage, bandwidth, mailboxes, and mobile access.

• Control Panels – PEM delivers a web-based interface which can be used by non-technical users to configure and manage all aspects of their service. Using a single login screen, service providers can gain access to all of their services and provide resellers and end users with their own, unique interfaces for managing their individual accounts and services.

PEM is a datacenter automation solution that allows service providers to automate the operational and billing processes associated with hosted service offerings. The solution automates the entire customer life-cycle, from accepting orders using an online storefront through provisioning, billing, and customer service. End user customers utilize the PEM multi-level, web-based interface to order and configure services without contacting their service provider and without having a detailed knowledge of server scripting.
