Parallels Business Automation delivers the ability to sell customized service plans. The system can accurately account for setup fees, monthly fees, usage based fees, overage charges, renewal fees, and termination fees. Manual credits and debits can be applied by personnel with appropriate privileges.

Resource-based billing allows you to build service plans which match the goals and objectives of your marketing efforts. For example, if your goal is to sell inexpensive service plans and increase margins on resource upgrades, you can establish plans with limited resources. If your goal is to upgrade customers to more expensive plans, you can establish plans which have limited upgrade capabilities so customers have to select a larger plan.

Create service plans (aggregations of resources) from web driven menus. Set resource limits and upgrade limits. Allow customers to add resources to a base plan. Define your own resources and upgrade paths.

Alternative product billing
Bill any type of product or service. Use Parallels Business Automation to accept online orders and invoice services that are delivered manually. For example: professional services and mobile handheld devices.

Payment receipt and application
Receive automated payments and input manual payments. Apply payments to customer invoices automatically or manually.

Tax application
Apply taxes according to different tax zones based upon the billing address of the account. Utilize pre-configured logic for VAT, sales tax, and regulatory taxes.
