Parallels System Automation is a datacenter automation solution which allows service providers to deliver customized hosting services through a multi-level, self-service customer control panel and billing system. Parallels System Automation's modular design allows providers to utilize Parallels System Automation's built in subsystems or integrate in-house or third party modules.
Parallels System Automation Control Panels
Parallels System Automation provides separate control panels for customers, resellers, and service providers. Each control panel provides a user-friendly interface for managing servers and resources without requiring users to have an in depth knowledge of server commands. In addition to the control panels, Parallels System Automation interfaces with customer prospects through commerce web sites and storefronts.
The Parallels System Automation control panel is multi-layered. Each level in the hierarchy determines the capabilities, branding, and service plans available to lower levels. This allows both service providers and resellers to establish service plans which meet the needs of their customers.

Parallels System Automation Operations Management
Parallels System Automation incorporates all aspects of service management including service plan creation, automatic provisioning, billing, customer support, marketing, server management, system monitoring, and more.
Changes entered into the Parallels System Automation control panel or a commerce web site are automatically communicated to the Parallels System Automation management servers to initiate service delivery. Provisioning and configuration of all system resources (web servers, application servers, FTP servers, mail servers, database servers, DNS servers, etc.) takes place automatically. Changes are also communicated to all external and back office resources (billing, accounting, CRM, domain registrars, monitoring, etc.). All billing features are managed through a centralized workflow process.
Although tightly integrated and specifically designed for use with the Parallels System Automation Operations Management system, the Parallels System Automation billing system can be used as a stand alone system.
Parallels System Automation Performance
Parallels System Automation allows service providers to maximize resource utilization through clustering and use of single purpose servers. Mail resources, web resources, and application resources can be hosted on separate machines that are optimally configured for the service being supported. When more resources are needed, Parallels System Automation allows providers to add a server of a specific resource type.
