The Parallels Business Automation (Business Support System) provides billing, resource accounting, and e-commerce functionality. Although the Parallels Business Automation is tightly integrated with and specifically designed for interoperability with the Parallels System Automation OSS, it can be used as a stand alone system to manage and bill resources for Plesk and Virtuozzo.

Multi-tiered Support
The Parallels Business Automation supports the resource accounting and billing relationship between the provider and his customers, between provider and resellers, and between resellers and their customers. Service providers can support specific languages and currencies in order to establish a worldwide reseller network.
Online and Offline Payment Methods
Parallels Business Automation supports common online payment methods, including all major credit cards, direct debit, and PayPal processing as well as payments via cash or check. Reports and alerts help service providers manage commonplace tasks such as credit card expiration and the application of billing adjustments.
Cross Platform Service Plans
Parallels System Automation.Billing allows providers to construct service plans using resources that are
located on different servers. For example, a provider can construct a Windows
hosting plan with MySQL database resources and qmail mail resources. Establish one time fees, recurring fees, and renewal fees for each individual resource or service plan. Resource rates can vary by reseller and by service plan.
Customers can purchase a plan that includes a specific amount of memory, bandwidth, domains, and mailboxes. As the customer outgrows the plan, they can upgrade to a new plan or add additional
resources at the resource rates established by the service provider.
Advanced Fraud Screening and Notification
Online payment processing facilitates the real-time deployment of customer services but if not properly deployed, it can lead to an increase in fraud. Parallels System Automation uses a score-based fraud detection system that allows service providers to assign individual weights to over 19 different criteria. When transactions exceed specific point levels, the notification system can alert support
personnel or deny orders depending upon the service provider's preferences.
Online Store Integration
Parallels Business Automation provides an open API that can be used to integrate with the Parallels System Automation online store or the provider's existing store. Integration with an online store ensures that pricing changes entered into Parallels System Automation are immediately posted to the customer web site and ensures that prices are the same in both places.
Single Login for Billing and Service Management
Tight integration with the Parallels System Automation OSS allows providers, resellers, and customers to access service management and billing information from a single login. The single-login approach links all services, including those provisioned on different servers, to one customer account.
Pre-integrated Payment Gateways and Domain Registrars
The Parallels Business Automation provides plug-ins to over 30 common payment gateways and domain registrars.
