Listen to the analysts.According to an IDC press release from Jan. 2009, the SaaS market will expand rather than contract despite the economic crisis. "SaaS services have benefited by the perception that they are tactical fixes which allow for relatively easy expansion during hard times," states SaaS research director Robert Mahowald.
"Nearly 90 percent of organizations surveyed expect to maintain or grow their usage of software as a service (SaaS), citing cost-effectiveness and ease/speed of deployment as primary reasons for adoption," states a Gartner press release from Dec. 2008. |
