Singapore - January 05, 2001 - SWsoft Pte Ltd, leading company in system software development, today announces its purchase of the BootWizard software focused on the multibooting and partitioning technologies from PhysTechSoft, Ltd and forming new business unit Acronis for further development and existing user-base support of BootWizard software. Acronis BootWizard Pro 4.0 release is already available for download and purchasing.

Under the terms of acquisition Agreement, all the proprietary rights to BootWizard distribution, future versions releases and others are transferred to Acronis from PhysTechSoft immediately after Agreement signing.

The acquisition of BootWizard would enable Acronis to extend its scope in system software considerably and to enter into new for Acronis high-growth segments, including partitioning and backup technologies. Also, Acronis brand position on system software market would be strengthened.

BootWizard is the powerful system utility based on two original technologies, covered operating systems multibooting and hard drive partitioning without data loss. It allows to automatically install and boot any operating system on hard disk and repartition hard disk, including resize, copy, and move partitions without data loss.

BootWizard Pro allows to automatically perform most of partitioning and multibooting operations like:

• Safely install, try, and remove if necessary the unknown to you OS without damaging your initial configuration
• Resize, copy, and move hard disk partitions without data loss
• Optimize hard disks and much more
