Parallels Plesk Automation is a FREE download. Parallels Business Automation Standard (billing system), and Parallels Web Presence Builder (site building tool) are also available as paid add-ons. To get started and register for your download, just click below!
Each "Management Node", as well as each Web or Mail "Service Node" simply requires a Parallels Plesk Panel Unlimited-Domain Dedicated Lease license. DNS and Database "Service Nodes" are free.
Depending on your situation, you may get these licenses from your server provider or, if you are a Parallels partner, from your sales representative or from Key Administrator. You may also order Parallels Plesk Panel Unlimited Domain Dedicated Lease licenses directly from Parallels at: http://www.parallels.com/store/plesk
To download the Parallels Plesk Automation installer, use the following command:
[root@server /]# wget http://download1.parallels.net/ppa/ppa_installer.sh
[root@server /]# chmod +x ppa_installer.sh
To download the Parallels Plesk Automation upgrade script, use the following command:
[root@server /]# wget http://download1.parallels.net/ppa/ppa_update
[root@server /]# chmod +x ppa_update
If your server has only one IP address recognized by the 'hostname-i' command, you can run the installation as follows:
[root@server /]# ./ppa_installer.sh --password <admin user password> --admin_email <admin user email>
If your server has more than one IP address or if 'hostname-i' does not resolve into the desired IP, use the full command:
[root@server /]# ./ppa_installer.sh --password <admin user password> --admin_email <admin user email> --ip <management node IP>
It is also advised to use different interfaces for external access and internal inter-node communications. For such configurations, you should indicate both IP addresses in the installation command:
[root@server /]# ./ppa_installer.sh --password <admin user password> --admin_email <admin user email> --ip <management node IP> --communication_ip <IP for service node communications>
After installation you can login into the Administration panel using the URL https://<IP>:8443, user “admin” and the password you selected in the installation command.
