The Application Packaging Standard (APS) allows Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to package their applications so that they can be rapidly deployed using control panels such as Plesk and Parallels Operations Automation. This APS capability helps service providers deploy a large variety of applications and helps ISVs get their applications to market through the valuable service provider channel.
The Parallels Plesk Panel is a comprehensive control panel solution used by leading hosting providers worldwide for shared, virtual and dedicated hosting. Plesk helps service providers deploy a large variety of applications and helps ISVs get their applications to market with applications that are compatible with the Application Packaging Standard (APS) for seamless integration with Plesk.
Virtualization is a key enabler of Saas. Clients can easily install applications that are packaged inside a Parallels Virtuozzo Container™ template. With Virtualization, single-tenant applications can achieve multi-tenancy functionality by running each instance in it’s own Virtuozzo Container™. In addition, if you have been thinking of creating Virtual Appliances, Parallels can help you provide clients with pre-configured virtual environments that meet their specific needs. You can custom build environments with specific applications to target specific markets and verticals.
