1. Introduction

This file is a release notes for the hostingPlaformChanger package, version 0.7-2, for Parallels H-Sphere 3.1 Patch 1 and up. It contains information that supplements the Parallels H-Sphere related documentation such as software requirements, information on new features, corrected bugs, known problems, etc. This file was updated with the latest information available at release time.

2. Installation Instructions

It is required that you have Parallels H-Sphere updated to version 3.1 Patch 1 or higher.

  1. Log into the Parallels H-Sphere Control Panel server as the cpanel user.
  2. Download the hostingPlaformChanger-0.7-2.hsp package from the following location: http://www.psoft.net/shiv/HS/hsPackages/hostingPlatformChanger/hostingPlatformChanger-0.7-2.hsp
  3. Install the package on your H-Sphere cluster.
  4. Follow the platform change instructions, starting from Step 2: http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation/admin/platform_change.html

  1. [+]  The hostingPlatformChange package is made compatible with Parallels H-Sphere 3.1 version.

  2. [-]  Fixed a problem with changing platform from Windows to Unix.

  3. [-]  Fixed a bug with platform change process during the deletion of child resources.

4. Known Problems and Limitations

  1. The hostingPlatformChange-0.7-2 package is compatible only with Parallels H-Sphere 3.1 Patch 1 or higher. The previous version, hostingPlatformChange-0.7-1, is compatible only with Parallels H-Sphere 3.0 branch.
