The appliance is aimed on providing Internet access for small private network . It contains web-configured firewall with private addresses masquerading, proxy-server and traffic statistic accounting. Three network is considered: Internet, DMZ and Intranet. By default access from intranet to Internet is granted for WEB, ICQ, FTP, SSH and DNS. All access to DMZ from Intranet is allowed. Traffic statistic for each IP address is available with proxy detail.
By default Network Adapter 1 is used for Internet, Network Adapter 2 for intranet and Network Adapter 3 for DMZ. You need to rebind them to appropriate networks before running the virtual appliance.
Bonjour technology is supported by the virtual appliance.
