CohesiveFT is a virtual software appliance manufacturing company delivering use case specific virtual appliances for the financial industry and messaging oriented middleware (MOM) appliances that are vertically aware, loosely coupled and multi sourced. We have offices in Palo Alto, Chicago and London and were founded in 2006. The founders of the company combine experience in large scale financial services and technology operations, with software innovation from small entrepreneurial teams.

Our goal is to simplify the process of getting value out of technology infrastructure . Corporations are no longer willing to tolerate expensive and complicated proprietary software solutions. This feeling has manifested itself in two technology trends:

First, that virtualization technology is maturing and virtual appliances are increasingly seen in production, replacing hardware appliances.
Second, that open source software business models have emerged that make it easier to create and use good software, and that amortize the lifetime costs of software by fostering community participation and replacing licenses with subscriptions.
