Course Overview
The course is designed to train participants on the main features of Parallels Business Automation and includes extended lab exercises. Attendees will learn how to administer a high scalable, multi-server, multi-platform environment using Parallels Business Automation and practice administering hosting service provider (HSP) sites. This course provides step by step instructions and information about Parallels Business Automation’s features, functions, configuration, and maintenance. The "Product Overview" module includes basic knowledge about Parallels Business Automation’s overall functions and integration with external provisioning systems. Subsequent modules give administrators in-depth knowledge of the business administration of multi-layer hosting structure, including management of the service provider, resellers, and customers. The final module is an introduction to system maintenance and customization. Training modules are accompanied by lab exercises including initial system configuration, payment system configuration, creation, and testing of different service plans, working with subscriptions and billing documents, arranging partnership with resellers, and system maintenance.

Brief introduction to the system infrastructure and its integration with external provisioning systems through gates. Security components: accounts, users, roles, and privileges. User interface. Provisioning concepts based on service plans, subscriptions, and order processing. Billing system: documents, modes, resource billing and provisioning. Payment processing: processing centers, payment systems, and payment methods. Sample process including purchase of a service, billing, provisioning, and management.General System Configuration
Introduction to management features provided by control panel. Setting provisioning infrastructure. Configuration of credit terms and service terms.
