Course Overview
In this course, you’ll learn about the features, functions, and maintenance of Parallels Server Bare Metal. You’ll also learn how to configure the product, and how to create and manage Containers and virtual machines.
Who will benefit from this course
System administrators who are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of servers running Parallels Server Bare Metal, including creating, configuring, and migrating Containers and virtual machines, as well as other management operations in hybrid virtualization environments based on two different types of virtualization.

- Installation and Licensing
Hardware and software requirements. Installation. License policy. Installation of Parallels Management Console (PMC).
- Basic Operations
Container creation and configuration. Sample configurations. Container migration. Working with PMC. Creation of virtual machines (VMs). VM files. VM clones and snapshots. Migration types. Backup tools.
- Parallels Management Console
Hypervisor configuration. VM configuration. Customization.
- Template Management
Basics of template management. EZ templates. Deployment and use of OS and application templates for Containers. EZ template repositories and mirrors. VM template management.
- Resource Management
Container resource management: CPU, memory, and disk usage. Network bandwidth management. VM resources: CPU, memory, video memory, and disks. Managing VM devices.
- Network Management
Routed and bridged modes. Managing virtual networks for Containers and virtual machines.
