This course is geared towards providing the skills and competence necessary for properly planning, implementing, administering, and supporting an environment based on Parallels Business Automation Enterprise edition (PBAE). After course completion, the attendees will be able to maintain the system using both the graphical user interface and special command line tools designed for support personnel. Students will understand the structure of the system, its database tables, configuration files, and log files. They will be able to manage services and the management database, and backup and restore the whole PBAE environment or parts of it. Each training module contains troubleshooting approaches and examples.
Who will benefit from this course
The training is useful for technical specialists and implementation/support teams involved in PBAE infrastructure installation and upgrade, PBAE configuration and reconfiguration, maintenance of various services, backup and restore of the whole system or parts of it, troubleshooting, and the development of hosting projects.
Prerequisites
This course is intended for technical staff experienced in using and implementing PBAE solutions. They must have good knowledge of various aspects of working with PBAE:
- PBAE administration menu structure and tasks
