Course Overview
In this course, you’ll learn about the features, functions, and maintenance of Parallels Server for Mac and will participate in extensive hands-on lab training. In addition, you’ll learn how to configure the product with various options, explore different operating modes, and perform a variety of tasks.

System administrators who are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of servers running Parallels Server for Mac including creating, configuring, and migrating virtual machines on Mac hosts, as well as other management operations in the virtualization environment.

- Installation

- Basic Virtual Machine Operations
Creating virtual machines using different modes. Frequently used operations: start, stop, delete, and clone. Settings for VM options, features, and hardware resources. Advanced settings. Adding and removing devices. VM templates.
- Parallels Tools
Basic knowledge about Parallels Tools in different guest operating systems. Installation and update of Parallels Tools.
- Network Configuration
Shared, bridged, and host-only modes. Using GUI and command line to set up different network modes.
- System Maintenance.
Using command-line utility. Interface customization. File system specifics. Troubleshooting. Monitoring server resource usage. Backing up and restoring. Parallels Virtual Tools: image tool, explorer, monitor, and compressor. Submitting a support request.
