Marketing Manager, Service Providers Business, Japan

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for all marketing activities in the region. Manager will drive closed-loop marketing activities including event management, strategic campaign planning, partner marketing, budget management and execution across Japan.

Responsibilities:

  • Position collaborates closely with local Sales Management and also Marketing teams across the globe.
  • The candidate will translate business strategy into marketing activities for Japan and deliver against defined targets.
  • Candidate will be responsible from development and design to execution and reporting for all Japan marketing activities.
  • Will monitor results to ensure full delivery, pacing and performance is in line with set benchmarks.
  • The candidate will also working on cross functional marketing projects for the APAC region.
  • Stakeholder in annual APAC marketing planning process.
  • Identify and execute in a closed loop all Japan events including reporting of ROI.
  • Translate the key features of our offerings into benefits and help to equip the channel and sales teams with effective sales tools – working closely with different stakeholders (for example, Product Marketing, marketing agencies, other regional marketing managers, campaign managers at Parallels corporate headquarters) and execute on marketing initiatives in a way tailored to Japan needs.
  • Drive communications excellence within the Japan region with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bring all elements within a campaign together to ensure a consistent approach runs through all material and across all channels.
  • Manage email marketing for Sales for customer and prospect communications using the company’s email automation software and CRM tools.

Desired Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in Channel Marketing, well-versed in direct response metrics, analytical, and a skilled project manager across multiple external and internal channels. High level of independent judgment and initiative required. Resourceful and capable of being calm and decisive under pressure working in multicultural teams.

  • Ability to drive leads to the sales team via multiple channels including, but not limited to, online, email campaigns, print, event and direct mail.
  • Successful track record of campaign and Channel Marketing program execution in the Japan IT market with a relentless focus on ROI improvement.
  • Strong influencing skills and a confident communicator.
  • Candidate must be willing to manage Japan -specific programs tactically while providing leadership in driving strategy in the Japan specifics to build an overall APAC strategy with the other APAC marketing stakeholders.
  • Candidate must be a high energy, can-do-person who can operate in a fast moving and self-service environment, and must have excellent written, verbal, presentation and time management skills.
  • Strong team player and used to working closely with top Sales management
  • 5+ years’ experience in a related field. Expertise in Channel Marketing preferred
  • BA/BS degree required, MA / MBA or equivalent education preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM and email marketing tools
  • Native Japanese language skills
  • Excellent English language skills

Senior Accountant will work as part of Parallels APAC Finance team based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial analysis and reporting for China and Japan entities.
  • Performing key role in month-end financial closing of China and Japan entities.
  • Implementing appropriate policies and procedures for China and Japan entities.
  • Providing vital support on order processing and pricing verification of orders.

Requirements:

Project Manager / Engagement Manager

This position reports into the Director of Customer Success – Asia Pacific with responsibility for all aspects of planning and delivering professional services contracts to the customer and ensuring the long term success of strategic customers.

  • Candidates must have demonstrated experience working as a program manager or Senior Project Manager for a technology company where the solution requires the delivery of professional services.
  • Candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of technology and be comfortable in defining both business and technical delivery plans.
  • Candidates must be able to understand, plan and manage all aspects of work needed to successfully adopt a solution, place into production and operationally transfer to the client.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience working with solutions involving software configuration and customization using customer provided hardware platforms, especially with Telco, hosting, cloud services or ERP type solutions.

Account Director, APAC

The Account Director will be an over-achiever in Vertical Sales with a strong focus and presence within the Telecom / Hosting / Service Providers verticals. This person will have excellent communication skills and a consistent track record of exceeding quota. This position will be located in Singapore and cover the sales territory of South Asia, Southeast Asia, Greater China.

Role Purpose

The main objective of this position is to grow the business of Parallels in Asia with telecom and service providers customers and to increase Parallels market share in server virtualization, VDI, service providers panels, cloud infrastructure automation as well as develop local partnerships to position Parallels as a cloud market leader.

Under limited direction the Account Director will:
  • Meet and exceed assigned goals, build territory revenue, prospect and close accounts by leveraging sales tools, partners and through individual initiative.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with all levels of customer organizations as appropriate, departmental through line of business and CxO.
  • Assimilate specific vertical market background, requirements, and infrastructure attributes, and apply this knowledge to sell Parallels solutions.
  • Drive account strategies and coordinate team-selling efforts to close software business on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage multiple prospects, customers and opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear management communication.
