New Parallels SMB Cloud Insights™ reports now available for multiple countries in Asia-Pacific and Europe

This fall Parallels extended our research into the small and medium businesses (SMB) Cloud services market with the release of new reports focusing on some of the largest developed and emerging economies in Asia-Pacific and Europe. This valuable research focuses on current usage, growth expectations and areas of market opportunity for service providers and how they can profit by delivering Cloud services to their SMB customers. Parallels' research also offers unique insights into SMBs' Cloud service buying trends and priorities for the next several years.

Newly released reports include Australia, China, India, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland. Also, watch for new reports on France, the UK and Spain to be released in early November.

Parallels Expanding Rapidly in Asia-Pacific

During the recent Parallels APAC Summit in Singapore, Birger Steen, CEO of Parallels announced to the regional media who were present that the company has dramatically increased its presence in Asia-Pacific. Parallels recent growth developments include the signings of several new major partners, distributors and deployments, as the company continues to help its partners stimulate and meet the growing demand for Cloud services from small and medium businesses (SMB) across the region.

"We're extremely pleased to experience the visible results of the aggressive investment we've made in Asia-Pacific over the last four years, as we continue to drive and meet the growing demand from SMBs for Cloud services," said Birger Steen, CEO of Parallels. Over the last twelve months, Parallels has built new relationships with large hosters and Communication Services Providers across the region, including KT, the largest telecommunication service provider in Korea, leading the way. Parallels' growing list of service provider partners also includes Datec, iiNET, Ride, Softbank Korea, Telekom Malaysia and UberGlobal in Australia. These and other partners continue to rely on Parallels for its Cloud services delivery solutions to help them meet the growing IT needs of the regions' SMBs.

In addition, Parallels has also expanded its network of distribution partners in developing markets with the appointment of Kryptos in India, PromptNow in Thailand, and Vinacis in Vietnam. These three new distributors will significantly grow Parallels' presence in each market through their relationships and expertise in hosting and Cloud services provider space.

Now Available for Download: Parallels Plesk 10.4 Preview

A preview of Parallels Plesk 10.4 is now available for download for both Windows and Linux systems. This preview release adds new features, improves functionality and resolves known issues.

The download includes Parallels Plesk Panel 10.4.0, Customer and Business Manager 10.4.0 and Parallels Web Presence Builder 10.4.0. Parallels Plesk partners are encouraged to download and evaluate this preview and to provide feedback on any issues encountered. Your evaluation and feedback are vital to the delivery of a great final product, and provide you with an early look at the future of Parallels Plesk. News from the Parallels Support Team

Parallels Global Support has added another team of Parallels Automation engineers to the Frontline Support team. The expansion of the Frontline Support team for Parallels Automation will help maintain support coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The addition will also help decrease the workload on the 2nd Line Support team and allow them to concentrate on complex cases and drive them to resolution much faster.

Parallels Global Support’s Level 2 support team has implemented new support procedures for handling support cases. The new “queue jockey process” assigns a designated queue jockey on each shift to review tickets with requests for urgent resolution. This new process has helped decrease the amount of escalations by 30% and we are hearing feedback from partners that they are seeing the benefits of this improved ticket review process.
