Parallels RAS receives Gold Star Award from TechGenix
Parallels® Remote Application Server (RAS) is proud to have received a gold star award from the well-known IT website TechGenix.com. Parallels RAS was given an impressive rating of 4.9 out of 5!
Having previously tried an older version of Parallels RAS, TechGenix reviewer Brien Posey was impressed by the tremendous amount of work put into the new version and decided to evaluate Parallels RAS deployed in the AWS cloud. He found the process of setting up the software to be easy, and once he had created a virtual machine (VM) the installer process completed quickly and was fully automated aside from having to enter a password.
When the software was running, he appreciated the simplicity of publishing applications. Noting the wide range of client platforms supported (including Windows, macOS, HTML5, iOS, Android, ChromeApp, and Linux), Posey recognized Parallels RAS to be even more feature-rich than before. He particularly liked the Quick Keypad feature that allows you to map keys to common functions in mobile applications.
The verdict is that Parallels RAS can easily scale to accommodate an enterprise workload. Parallels RAS is available on-premises but can also be hosted on the cloud – you no longer have to worry about manually deploying or licensing a terminal server environment.
The review was written while most people are being forced to work remotely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and acknowledges that Parallels RAS is a great solution for remote workers to access the applications that they depend on most to do their jobs.
