RD Session Host Template

The template will dynamically create either an RDS host when the farm load rises, or it will remove or disable/switch an RDS host to idle when the farm load goes down.

The administrator selects an available server discovered in the network or added manually using an IP address or server name. The wizard can detect if the RDS role is enabled on a remote server; if the RDS role is not enabled, the Wizard can install it.

Gateways High Availability Load Balancing (HALB)
With Microsoft RDS, Network Load Balancing (NLB) can be used to load balance the network traffic among multiple gateways. However, on top of adding the complexity of managing an extra component, it does not guarantee the high availability of the service. Parallels RAS HALB provides full-service redundancy, checking the health of the gateways before forwarding a connection. It can be easily managed on the Parallels RAS Console and allows SSL offloaders.
