Parallels and Synnex Australia Announce Strategic Distribution Agreement

Parallels® has formed a new strategic distribution agreement with Synnex Australia, a leading IT solutions aggregator with a strong channel heritage in Australia. Synnex Australia now distributes Parallels’ solutions to more than 6,000 channel partners across the region so they can empower businesses to cost-effectively deploy virtual Windows desktops and apps to any device, seamlessly run Windows apps directly on Macs and Chromebooks, as well as extend their existing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure to manage Macs, iPads, iPhones, and PCs all though a single pane of glass.

Synnex Australia, through its enterprise-grade Synnex Cloud Marketplace, helps its partners efficiently provision and manage their software subscriptions. This allows managed service providers (MSPs), enterprise resellers, and system integrators to provide their customers with cost-effective and straightforward “as a service” IT solutions.

The addition of Parallels’ products to the Synnex Cloud portfolio will allow partners to lower their operational expenses as they add new customers and expand their recurring subscription revenue streams.

Synnex’ partners now offer virtualization solutions that meet their businesses’ diverse needs – such as immediately enabling employees to work from home or remotely using any device – and expand their private, public, and hybrid cloud implementations. Some of the Parallels’ products that Synnex Australia will distribute under the agreement include:

“Our partnership with Parallels will strengthen the portfolio of solutions Synnex provides to the channel, allowing partners to grow their business with a new stream of recurring revenue” says Kee Ong, Synnex Australia and New Zealand CEO. “Partners who focus on productivity solutions and different eco-systems can now cross-sell and up-sell, adding greater value to our Synnex marketplace,” he added.

“Parallels is excited to provide Synnex Australia’s network of more than 6,000 channel partners our award-winning line of software solutions that make it simple and cost-effective for SMBs, SMEs, and organizations to bring Windows applications to any device,” said Ary Collet Junior, Channel Manager of Sales at Parallels. “Synnex’s commitment to helping partners improve their customer strategies is essential to expanding Parallels’ partner footprint in the region, and Parallels looks forward to leveraging this to reach more MSPs and resellers.”
