Today’s Hardest Computer Problems (Infographic)


With super-smart tech toys like the Apple Watch, Amazon Echo and Microsoft HoloLens becoming reality rather than science fiction, it almost feels greedy to talk about problems we can’t yet solve with technology. But the problems persist. (Personally, I can’t wait for someone to crack teleportation. Scotty, where are you?)

Still, that doesn’t mean that we’re not on the fast track to solving some of today’s most difficult computing problems. Just check out this awesome infographic by Lenovo on Visually—it does an outstanding job of detailing today’s current, potentially solvable problems, as well as some we’ve conquered in the last century (and some we really should have already):

What are the biggest tech fixes you’re waiting for in the next fifty-odd years? We’ve solved the issue of needing multiple operating systems (Hello, Parallels Desktop!). Again, my vote is for teleportation. Imagine never having to fly on a crowded airplane ever again…
