1. ModernBill Customers. Existing ModernBill customers and partners will benefit from the depth and breath of solutions and resources offering by Parallels. ModernBill customers who use control panels other than Parallels Plesk Control Panel will continue to be fully supported.
Small and medium hosting providers can continue to use ModernBill and benefit from Parallels Open Platform initiatives such as the Application Packaging Standard to gain additional revenue from their existing client base. In addition, customers will benefit from a special bundled offering with the Parallels Plesk Control Panel.
Large hosting providers will have the opportunity to continue using ModernBill or upgrade to more advanced automation solutions such as Parallels Automation.
2. Parallels Customers. Existing Parallels customers benefit by being able to purchase both control panels and a billing solution as a pre-integrated package.
Shared hosting providers who use Parallels control panel products will benefit from the opportunity to purchase a pre-integrated billing solution from Parallels.
Dedicated hosting providers who offer Parallels Plesk Control Panel will now be able to offer clients a complete, pre-installed hosting package with server management (Plesk) and e-commerce (ModernBill).
3. ModernDNS, SSL Factory, ModernAuthorize, and FraudGuardian Customers. Parallels will continue to support and grow these services to the benefit of current clients.
4. Parallels ISV Partners. Independent software vendors who have packaged their application according to the APS Standard will benefit as Parallels extends APS features to the ModernBill system.
a. Product Bundles. ModernBill is already integrated with several control panels to deliver a complete hosting solution. Parallels Plesk Control Panel, Parallels EnsimPro, and Parallels Helm are frequently purchased together - and will now be even easier to purchase. A new bundled offering will provide new clients with a discount when they purchase ModernBill and deploy it on a server along with the Parallels Plesk Control Panel.
b. cPanel Users. cPanel and other control panel users can be assured that their solutions will continue to be supported. Parallels will continue to develop the ModernBill product. Integration with Parallels Virtuozzo Containers will provide additional revenue opportunities for existing ModernBill customers.
