"By using Parallels Business Automation to streamline the whole supply chain from ordering to provisioning and billing, we can offer our services at very attractive prices."
Swisscom IT Services for large enterprises provides a range of services from system integration to full service management. The addition of VPS and dedicated servers for Linux and Windows completes Swisscom's product set for small and medium-sized enterprises.
"We are pleased that Swisscom IT Services AG chose Parallels virtualization and automation products to power its new server offerings," said Nils Hueneke, director for Hosting EMEA, Parallels. "Swisscom IT Services AG and its customers will benefit from our ongoing initiative to advance an open platform for hosting with continued innovation in hosting automation."

The Application Packaging Standard (APS), a key element of the platform, is used by independent software vendors (ISVs) and service providers around the globe to seamlessly integrate applications currently offered to more than 10 million businesses and individuals that use Parallels products.
Each Parallels component helps deliver part of Swisscom’s optimized computing environment. Parallels Business Automation software manages ordering, billing, collecting, and reporting of server resources. Parallels Plesk Control Panel makes server administration efficient by automating a large number of tasks that allow service providers to reduce operating costs while increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.
