Hardware Compatibility

Virtuozzo’s OS virtualization technology is unique to other packed virtualization technologies. Virtuozzo is built on top of existing operating systems and typically supports the hardware that is supported by the operating system. Virtuozzo for Windows supports all hardware that Windows 2003 supports. Virtuozzo for Linux supports hardware devices supported by Red Hat kernels, but due to an infinite variety of computer system configurations and the manufacturing specifications and components of hardware change, Parallels cannot guarantee compatibility with all hardware. Virtuozzo is packaged to include an extensive list of hardware drivers that is listed on this page for easy reference.
