Parallels and Newtech host successful Parallels RAS launch in Malta

Last week marked the official introduction of Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS) to the Maltese market. At an event organized in collaboration with our local distributor Newtech, potential resellers and customers joined the Parallels and Newtech teams at the Microsoft Innovation Centre at Skyparks in Luqa for a presentation of the cost-effective application and desktop delivery solution.
Attendees were able to see how the solution helps businesses meet their agility and mobility demands without incurring additional costs. With the versatility and simplicity of Parallels RAS on display, IT administrators were introduced to a product which features innovative design decisions that reduce TCO by making the solution easy to manage while still offering user companies a way to implement distance working, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and CYOD (Choose Your Own Device) policies.
The Parallels and Newtech teams were very enthusiastic about having organized such a well-attended event, and regarded the attendance as a vote of confidence in the mass market appeal Parallels RAS offers. As JJ Miceli Demajo, the General Manager for Newtech, said, “The Maltese market is full of potential clients looking for ways to do things faster, with a lower cost, without sacrificing customer experience and high standards of service.
