Please be advised that the domain that you normally access your MDM account from has been changed from"admin.mobiledevicemanager.com" to "mdm.2x.com". Bookmarks you may currently have configured will need to be updated to the URLs below:

Please advise your users to update to the new versions of the Windows, iOS and Android apps now available, as soon as possible! Older versions of these apps will fail to connect to your MDM account nor provide updates from now onwards.

You can check whether a device is running an outdated version of the MDM app from the MDM Portal> Devices node. If outdated, you will notice the caution symbol next to the device’s status. Hover your pointer over this symbol to confirm “The MDM client outdated” message below.Confirm that Android and Windows apps are running on version 8.0.711 and iOS on version 8.0.65.

Android Update Process.

The Android App will automatically update if sync is enabled on the user's device.

iOS Re-Enroll Process.

It is highly recommended that iOS users Re-Enroll to install new profiles onto the device. This is a two stage process:

  • Remove the Parallels MDM client app and MDM Profiles by following this guide:http://www.2x.com/removing-mdm-profile-from-iphone/ (http://www.2x.com/removing-mdm-profile-from-iphone/ )
  • Enroll the device by following this guide:http://www.2x.com/enroll-manage-iphone ( http://www.2x.com/enroll-manage-iphone )/

Note: For Users of iOS 6 or lower versions, It is mandatory to install new profiles.

iOSusers will receive a request to update the MDM app and only have to accept the installation. You can force the request from portal select device > Applications > Refresh.

Windows Updated Process.

Windows users can update from the MDM App > click Help >Check for Updates. If Remote Control does not work for your Android devices, go to Devices > Select issue devices > Click Update.
