Meet the Parallels Team at the Arizona Technology Summit

Today, the Parallels team is exhibiting at the Arizona Technology Summit (http://arizona.technologysummit.net/ ) conference in Phoenix, AZ (Booth 138) and demoing the latest version of  Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS). Parallels RAS is one of the most effective broker connections for VDI & RDS with an unbeatable price and a seamless end-user experience, while also lowering costs and reducing complexity.

With cloud revolution, application streaming, VDI and hosted apps have taken center stage. Office desktops that host applications have become a thing of the past. Earlier, IT guys had to be on their toes, installing applications and updating them on a regular basis. Applications are important because everybody in the organization uses them to work. A business of any size needs to have constant access to its applications to keep the wheel turning.

Today, there are several ways to dynamically publish applications to remote users. Whether you use application virtualization technologies, virtual desktop infrastructure or remote desktop services to deliver applications, the new application delivery system reduces downtime and installation updates while making it easy to manage.

Application virtualization also reduces the risk of data loss. In fact, information security is still a significant challenge for enterprises. On a daily basis, cybercrime menaces organizations by exploiting the vulnerabilities exposed in applications and technologies.

While the defense to each endpoint is costly and ineffective, a solution such as Parallels Remote Application Server replaces traditional application deployment with on-demand application delivery, allowing users operating anywhere with any device to have instant access to applications while ensuring the highest levels of security and control over sensitive data.

We hope to see you at the conference!
