Enable Pre-Release Features in Configuration Manager
In this short post, let’s walk through how to enable the pre-release features in Configuration Manager. Pre-release features are features that are in the current branch for early testing in a production environment.
As per Microsoft, the pre-release features are fully supported, but still in active development. Until they are actively addressed, they will remain categorized as pre-release features.
Before using pre-release features, you must consent to use them. If you are running a ConfigMgr current branch builds, you may find several pre-release features.

Note: Once you provide consent to use the pre-release features, it’s a permanent action and you cannot revert or undo the change. Therefore, only move forward with appropriate authorization.
When you install Configuration Manager, the option to turn on the pre-release feature is greyed out by default.
To locate all of the release and pre-release SCCM features, navigate to Administration > Overview > Cloud Services > Updates and Servicing > Features.
