Connect with the Parallels Team at MMS 2020 in Minneapolis

Update March 25, 2020: A message from the host: Given the current CDC recommendations against the gathering of large groups, we will not be able to host MMS the week of May 3, 2020. We are moving MMS to the week of July 26, 2020. If gathering restrictions and European flight restrictions are not lifted by July, we’ll have to cancel MMS MOA entirely and move our focus to MMS Midway Edition in San Diego beginning on October 11th.

Another year, another round of tech conferences—and you can bet that the Parallels team will be present in many of them.

One of the first events is the MMS 2020 at Mall of America in Minneapolis. The event is officially slated for May 4 to 7, 2020, but participants are urged to attend the welcome reception on the evening of May 3rd to get a head start on networking with peers.

As those who come to MMS may know, this summit is always a mixed bag of activities that include topic sessions, camping sessions (and no, there won’t be any singing involved), Nerds of a Feather sessions (discussions at the end of every session), exhibits/demos at the sponsors’ Expo, and perhaps, some sponsor-hosted parties too. All ofthese offer great opportunities for networking. Plus, with the attendee number purposely capped at 750, it’s easier to get to meet the people you really want to connect with.

The technical sessions, to be handled by speakers who are either industry experts, Microsoft MVPs, or Microsoft product teams, will cover the following requested topics:

If you want to get more in depth on a certain topic, then you can book yourself a camping session—a 15-minute private session with Microsoft, speakers, or MVPs. This is the perfect time to make a specific inquiry, request a certain feature, or give feedback on a product.

And speaking of products, the Parallels® team will be demoing the Parallels Mac Management for SCCM (now known as Microsoft Endpoint Manager or MEM) in our sponsor’s booth at the expo. This is Parallels’ plug-in solution that offers a simple yet effective way to discover, enroll, and manage MAC devices along with your Windows PCs within the Microsoft Endpoint Manager’s powerful interface.

To dig into this subject even further, we will also be hosting a session entitled “Put your unmanaged Mac and iOS devices into MEM without Intune.” In this session, attendees will learn how to:

In short, we’ll show you how to achieve full Mac and iOS management with Parallels Mac Management in MEM. You’ll find out just how convenient, hassle-free, and cost-effective it can be to manage even a fleet of PCs and Macs in your organization.

There’s so much to see and do, and new people to meet at the MMS at MOA this year. We hope to see you there!
