How to Remotely Access Your Mac from Your iPhone

Sometimes you need access to your Mac on the go—whether it’s because you forgot a file, need to send yourself something, or just want to edit something on the fly.

The easiest way to access your Mac from your iPhone? Using Parallels Access. See for yourself:

I’m the person who needs to be able to edit things while I’m out and about. As a writer, I often want to jot down the odd idea or two when I’m standing in line at the grocery store or somewhere even more inconvenient, like the dog park. (What can I say? I can’t control my creative brainwaves.)

Before downloading Parallels Access, I would jot down a note to myself on my native iPhone Notes app…and then promptly forget that I had made that note until weeks—sometimes months—later. But with Parallels Access, I can tap into any document on my home computer or laptop and add my notes all in one place.

So, for all of you out there that love having access to your files from anywhere…have you tried Parallels Access yet? (Psst—there’s a free trial right here.)
