Parallels® Remote Application Server (RAS) 22 introduces new controls for endpoint security, direct access to corporate files, session recording, and expanded support for hybrid AVD environments.

Join the Parallels product team for a live look at what has changed in RAS 22 and how the new capabilities affect day-to-day security, access, administration, and the user experience.

In this webinar, you'll see:

  • Get earlier visibility into endpoint security. Client device posture checks assess security requirements such as antivirus status and OS or browser versions before access. Ongoing checks help IT monitor device compliance during active sessions, including across BYOD and contractor endpoints.
  • Give users direct access to corporate files. Direct File Access via SMB brings existing file shares into the RAS User Portal alongside applications and favorites. Users can open files in the appropriate published application without IT deploying a separate file access solution.
  • Review session activity when you need it. Session recording and playback gives IT a record of remote user activity that can support audits, incident investigations, contractor governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Keep more choice over where AVD resources run. AVD Hybrid lets you manage AVD hosts running in Azure and on-premises infrastructure through Parallels RAS. The AVD control plane remains in Azure, while your organization retains more flexibility over where hosts and data reside.
  • Reduce day-to-day administration. RAS 22 also includes updates to access policies and multifactor authentication, gateway resilience, monitoring, application delivery, VDI provisioning, and the Mac experience.

The session will include a closer look at VDI Platform Scaling, MSIX launch parameters, improved host visibility, True Coherence mode for Mac, and enhancements for Linux and iOS/iPadOS clients.
