It’s official: Partner certifications are here for Parallels Desktop

The team here has been hard at work building new versions and new enterprise-level features for Parallels Desktop, but that hasn’t been the only thing underway.

I’m excited to share that starting today, Parallels Desktop has a brand-new set of certifications for members of the partner program—especially those who work with business and enterprise customers.

New for the partner program: Certifications for Parallels Desktop

Back to school isn’t just for the kids anymore.

Starting today, Parallels Desktop partners can sign up for in-depth training sessions. By completing these complimentary sessions, partners like you can become officially certified in Parallels Desktop.

So you can prove your expertise and stand out from the crowd to enterprise customers weighing their options.

What kinds of certifications are available?

The Parallels Desktop Sales Professional (SP) certification

This training session and certification teaches partners, resellers, and distributors what they need to know to demonstrate and sell Parallels Desktop effectively.

Live and on-demand sessions include deep dives into features, use cases, and licensing models.

The Parallels Desktop Technical Professional (TP) certification

This session and certification targets IT specialists and support staff, giving them the knowledge to set up, configure, and troubleshoot Parallels Desktop in customer environments.

Real-world experience: What Parallels Desktop partners are saying

The partner program is all about trust and cooperation between the Parallels team and our partners. We’re as invested in our partners and their success as they are—and we’re here to help, every step of the way.

Hear from a few partners about how it’s worked out for them:

“We’ve seen strong demand translate into outstanding business results—with +151% year-over-year revenue growth—underscoring the value it brings to both customers and our portfolio.”

-Scott Richardson, General Manager at Douglas Stewart (Distribution Partner)

“As a Parallels Channel Partner, we see real value in the new Sales and Technical Professional certifications. These additions enable our team to formally demonstrate expertise—helping us stand out in the market and giving customers added assurance that they’re working with certified specialists.”

-Tom Taylor, Vendor Manager at ACS Group (Channel Partner)
